Who We Are Looking For
We review every application personally. There are a few things that are fixed, and a few that make the difference. Here's what we look for.
Genuine C-suite title

CFO, CMO, COO, CPO, Chief of Staff or equivalent. You've sat at the table, owned the budget, led the team. Director-level experience alone doesn't qualify — and that's not a judgment, it's a positioning decision.
Already fractional

You've made the pivot. You have a B2B structure, you understand the model, and you're not figuring it out as you go. If you're still deciding, we'd love to hear from you in a few months.
Switzerland-based

Based in Switzerland, or genuinely set up to serve Swiss and DACH clients. The Blaze network is local by design — proximity matters for the embedded, relationship-led work we place.
Available to commit

You can take on at a minimu an advisory role, but preferably 1–3 day per week retainer, and be deployment-ready within two weeks. If your plate is full right now, we'd rather you join when you can show up fully.

Scaleup or entrepreneurial experience
You've worked inside a high-growth, founder-led or PE-backed business — and you know what it feels like when the org chart doesn't exist yet. Scaleup founders hire Blaze because they need people who've been there.
A clear offer and track record to show
You know what you do, who you do it for, and what a great mandate looks like. The more specific you are, better it is for the founders. You have results you can point to, people who can speak to them.
An ambassador mindset, and willingness to contribute
You're not just here for the mandates. You refer, you introduce, you show up to community calls. The network is only as strong as the people who actively contribute to it.
